This latest series finds the curmudgeonly yet somehow charismatic Dr. Martin Ellingham dealing with the trials of becoming a new father. At the same time he and the child's mother have issues of their own. As if that weren't enough, Martin is still contemplating leaving Portwenn for a new consulting career in London.
