Researchers warn of grizzly bear project in Montana's Madison Range
A team of researchers from the Interagency Grizzly Bear Study Team will be at work between May 21 and June 8 in Montana's Madison Range, trapping and collaring grizzly bears, and signs will be posted warning those recreating in the area to be aware of increased bear activity.

Colorado Mining Association asks U.S. Supreme Court to hear roadless case
Although Colorado has developed its own plan to manage the federal roadless areas within the state's borders, officials of the Colorado Mining Association said there is merit in opposing the 2001 Roadless Area Conservation Rule, and for that reason the Association has asked the U.S. Supreme Court to overturn the federal law.
